World Water Forum is held every three years from 1997 and is the world’s largest meeting on water. Various activities are held such as discussions of the problems regarding water-resources management, climate changes, water related disasters countermeasures, water and sewage, water environmental problems etc., Ministerial conference, shows, and events etc. related to water during the exhibition. The results of discussions here are to hold serious influences for the tone of arguments about global water and implementation of future policy decisions and projects at the U.N. agency, each area, and state level etc.

JAPAN PAVILION, we exhibit the advanced technology leading the world in
fields such as water, health, environment, and disaster prevention, the
record of international contributions, and the revival from the Great
East Japan Earthquake by the theme "TAKUMI"(Technology), "NAGOMI"
(harmony,)" , and "KIZUNA" (Bonds of friendship).
