-Affected area: Northern areas - Sava region: Sambava, Antalaha, Andapa. Analajirofo region: Maroantsetra. Diana region: Ambanja district. Sofia region: Antsohy, Ananlalava, Mandristara,  Port Berger.
-Human damage: 80 casualties, 30,000 displaced.
-Infrastructure: Heavy infrastructure damage. Biggest flood since 1959 in Sofia region.
-Economic loss: 90,000 hectares of crops lost.

Heavy rains caused floods in Indonesia.
-Affected area: Jakarta (Cipinang Muara, Kalimalang, Ciledug, Kapuk, Tomang, Larangan, Bendungan Hilir, Kampung Melayu and Pasar Minggu). Bekasi, Tangerang, Depok, Bogor.
Banten province (Tangerang). West Java Province.

-Human damage: 80 casualties, 500,000 dispalced.
-Inundation: 4 meters deep in parts of city. Jakarta 75% flooded (255 square miles under water.)
-Economic loss: US$15.4 million. Total flood damages estimated at 8.8 trln rupiah.

-Affected area: Luanda city, Cacuaco municipality, Viana. Benguela province.
-Human damge: 81 casualties. 40,000 displaced, 10,000 families homeless. 50 missing.
Infrastructure damage.

Espirito Santo.
-Human damage: 50 casualties, 17,000 displaced.
Infrastructure/Houses: Numerous shanties washed off the hillsides above Rio de Janiero city.
