IFNet 2nd General Meeting at the WCDR in Kobe, January 2005 The 2nd General Meeting of IFNet will be held on January 19th from 14:00 - 17:00 at International Conference Center Kobe, room 401//402 during the World Conference on Disaster Reduction. IFNet is waiting for your ideas and opinions about future action plans Please send to info@internationalfloodnetwork.org We will be announcing the collected ideas at the 2nd General Meeting of IFNet. ^ to top 2. Flood Information in Niigata-Fukushima and Fukui The torrential rain blew northern Japan, setting off recording precipitation and thousands of inundated houses in July this year. Niigata-Fukushima prefecture had over 400mm of precipitation on July 12th through 13th, and Fukui prefecture having 285mm of rain on July 18th. ^ to top 3. Flood Hazard Map Manual available Flood Hazard Map Manual has been newly uploaded on our website. UN/ESCAP and the Typhoon Committee with the member states are extending the technical cooperation.
