- Toward Establishment of IFNet -
"Water in Rivers" Secretariat is going to have multi-stakeholder
booths both at Event Hall and Event Tent in Kyoto International Conference
Hall, which is the main venue of the 3rd World Water Forum. Staffs of the
Secretariat will be there for you to explain details and activities of
International Flood Network (IFNet).

EVENT HALL
|
|
|
 Here our booth is combined with the one run by National Space Development
Agency of Japan or NASDA for more efficient exhibition. This combined booth
introduces you IFNet Global Flood Alert System, which automatically forecasts
outset of floods after gathering and analyzing data of global precipitation
from Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM), which NASDA and others are
currently studying. This innovative system is to be explained in the video
show.

EVENT TENT
|
|
This place is the open space where anyone can relax and have small meetings.
We will provide you free hot drink such as coffee and tea.
As well as Event Hall we will show interesting video on a wide TV screen.

Establishment of IFNet |
|
Thanks to your support and cooperation, IFNet is going to be established soon at the Wrap Up Plenary of Flood Days in the Forum on March 19, 2003. We hope you will join IFNet's activities more actively hereafter.
